A Few Words
I’m Denny Strecker, Owner / Head Instructor here at Prestige Martial Arts.
As a martial arts instructor with extensive experience training kids, there is nothing better than seeing them grow firsthand.
But more important than the martial arts skills they learn… is the personal skills they develop and carry for life.
Because martial arts is so much more than just kicking and punching, and getting the next colorful belt.
It’s about developing confidence, discipline, character, focus and respect.
With every class we teach, your kids are growing in mind, body and character.
That’s because martial arts provides instant positive feedback. Through learning to focus on the core moves, they develop discipline and respect. They can instantly see and feel a difference, making them destined to build confidence, self-awareness and self-respect.
And of course it’s a ton of FUN!
That’s why I love teaching martial arts to kids in this community, and why I know your kids are going to LOVE training.
So please have a look below to find out exactly how your kids can benefit from our fun martial arts classes.
What Is Prestige Martial Arts?
Does Your Child Have
They are great kids but they just don’t listen, often being told to do something a hundred times before they actually do anything.
They’re bright and intelligent, yet have trouble paying attention at home, in school or in any important situation, even being classified as an “ADD” or “ADHD” child.
They are simply shy and lack the confidence and self-esteem needed to live up to their full potential.
The Difficulties of Raising Children Are Near Endless
There really is a safe, natural and extremely effective way to take charge and positively impact every aspect of your child’s life. It doesn’t take medicine, therapy, harsh actions, or cajoling your kids to change their behavior. Instead, it is teaching your kids self-discipline, hard work, confidence, and respect. This done in a way that empowers them while also teaching them humility, and promoting health and fitness… all at the same time.
Sounds like a wonder cure doesn’t it?
But there really is something that does all that. And that’s the power of martial arts classes.
your child will grow with every class!
Children are like sponges. They absorb things quickly and easily – far more easily than we do as adults. In fact, parents can sometimes see a difference in their kids after just one martial arts class. Each additional class they attend increases their knowledge and growth.
Not only are they getting healthier as they learn martial arts, they’re also learning the value of self-discipline and respect. When you enroll your child in a martial arts class, you’re giving them much more than the physical skills we teach. You’re giving them the opportunity to thrive.
Our son has been enrolled with Prestige for a little over a month now. We couldn't be more pleased! If you are looking to sign your child up for a karate class where you can just drop them off or sit on the sideline, Prestige may not be for you. Parent involvement is required to assist your child during class. Examples of parent involvement are counting jumping jacks, tracking their progress, holding a kicking paddle, hugging and high-fiving your child. The karate program at Prestige isn't focused solely on executing the moves, it's primary focus is to give your child the tools needed to live a happy, healthy, and successful life. The children work on valuable life skills like how to introduce yourself to someone new, reading social cues, set goals, contributing at home, believing in yourself, etc. I could go on forever. In the last 6 weeks, we have already noticed a consistent difference in our son's attitude and self confidence. If you are considering joining Prestige, DO IT! Shihan is an amazing instructor and life coach. If you put in the effort, you will be extremely pleased. I also highly recommend joining the Leadership Training to maximize your child's outcome. Prestige also offers virtual classes.
I was looking for a program that would help my son with life skills, discipline and focus. He struggled after we moved and was afraid he wouldn’t make friends. virtual learning wasn’t for him, but we had no choice during the pandemic. After months of searching for something to help his anxieties, I came across Prestige and we have been involved for two months. Since joining, I have noticed Improvement with focus and a more positive attitude. I know this is just the beginning of many more to follow. Shihan teaches in a way that helps children and parents get set up for success. I look forward to the future with my son at prestige!
Amazing program and Shihan. This place has great energy and spirit. Shihan is great with the kids and parents. My child has thrived in everything he does ever since we have joined. He looks forward to going to class. My child has gone through a lot within the last year and this has helped him so much. He has just bloomed and it makes me smile to see him so happy. I would recommend this class to anyone!!
We signed up my son last year when he was 5 to help him build confidence. Since then his more confident in everything and made improvements in all areas. Now, his twin sister has joined along with him after seeing how fun the class were. I love the fact that the classes focus on life skills but making it a blast for the kids!
Denny Strecker's teaches kids not only karate, but how to become leaders. My son has been going there for over a year and the change in his self confidence and attitude has been life changing!
We're only 6 weeks in and we could not be happier w/ the progress. Our near 4 year old is not the best listener, but we are already seeing changes. Still a work in progress to be sure, but we're on our way!
Absolutely love what I'm seeing both our daughters achieve in such a short time, and really like how the courses focus on life skills as well as physical skills
Nearly five years at the dojo now. My son, 12 year old who is autistic has really progressed under Shihan Strecker. He is doing things I would not have thought he could do. He's still very shy but his confidence has grown so much. I highly recommend this kid friendly, family oriented dojo.
